SeaShare Serves-Up a Salmon Lunch at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission
Last week SeaShare had the pleasure of helping serve a salmon lunch at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission. The salmon was donated by Triad Fisheries, and the staff and guests were excited to have this special item on the menu.
“This meal means everything to me, nothing to complain about – we are very blessed to have a meal like this," said Brady, a Union Gospel Mission Men's Shelter guest.
SeaShare recently donated 400 pounds of salmon from Triad Fisheries to Seattle's Union Gospel Mission. Union Gospel Mission prepared a delicious meal with the salmon, and said, "we can't thank you enough for your generosity, and for filling the bellies of our guests with something that is both delicious AND nutritious!"
We're happy to help! And happy to see that we could help brighten the day for some of Union Gospel Mission's guests. Last year Union Gospel Mission served 1.1 million meals in Seattle, three meals a day, 365 days a year.
